A launch time changed but I didn't get an alert

Alerts go to launches you follow (the bell on a launch page). Check that notifications are on in Settings → Notifications → Launch Guide. Delay alerts usually arrive within five minutes of the schedule changing.

How do I get the countdown on my Lock Screen or in StandBy?

Open a launch and tap Live. For launches you follow, it also starts by itself about an hour before liftoff (turn this off in the Following tab). With the phone charging on its side and locked, StandBy shows the countdown full-screen. For a countdown that's always there, add the Countdown Clock widget to StandBy.

How do wake-up alarms work?

On a launch page, tap “Need to wake up for this one?”. Choose a time before liftoff, or a set time like 4:00 AM that only rings if the launch is still on for that day. Alarms ring at full volume even on silent, and you'll get a notification if a slip moves or cancels one.

Why does a launch say “Time TBD” or “Date TBD”?

Launch providers often announce a day or month before an exact time. Launch Guide shows only what has actually been announced rather than guessing.

What do the weather numbers mean?

The percentage is the 45th Weather Squadron's probability of weather acceptable for launch. Cloud cover by layer comes from Apple Weather: low clouds are what usually hide a rocket, while a thin high layer often lets the plume glow through.
